In spite of the Christmas rush, I forged into the melee yesterday, looking for
another 5 metal slinkies to lengthen my 175 foot slinky beverage to 350ft....
seems that I can't hear all the EU DX on topband that everybody else is
working... and most of the guys I hear working the DX from the midwest are
using long beverages (more than 1/2 wave)....
Anyway.... nobody (not even Toys R Us) has slinky toys anymore..... clues?
