Spoke to John on 10 meters today....he said his antenna is still up but his
amp was down and he does not plan to be on 160 meters again anytime soon- He
indicated that last month, he had some real surprise openings to the west
coast USA. John was telling some other operators that QSL'ing direct to him
was tough....he was still on 1995 cards........but his manager, W4DR is up to
date and he strongly suggested that all QSL's for his call be sent to his
manager- from experience, W4DR gets a a card back within a week or two of the
ones I've sent, including my "glass cased" 160 meter contact (-:
