T30R was again on 1828.1 KHz this morninng. They started a few minutes
past 0900 UTC with good signals and the local T-Storm QRN was not a
problem at this QTH!
On 08 Nov 1997, I worked Jack KH6CC with my 80 meter inverted vee and
100 watts, on 160 CW. Fourteen days later I installed a half wave
inverted vee at the top of my 100 foot tower. From that point, to the
the just completed T30R QSO, I've worked 100 DXCC countries on TopBand.
I wish to thank the many fine operators on 160 meters and recognize the
huge efforts that DXPeditions make to activate this band!
Please note: I still have no "receive antennas" for 160 meters.
XF4MX was worked 07 Mar 1999 on 1820 KHz using CW. I must say that the
signal was very weak for the path. I spotted them on the DXCluster, and
only four USA stations were able to work them. I do not know about the
160 antenna at XF4MX, but I believe there is some room for improvement.
Good luck and DX, to all!
