They seemed to show up about the usual time (0950z) but noise was high and
copy was very marginal, mostly they were below the noise. Didn't hear too
many others calling; west-coast web spots helped let us know they were
indeed still on the band. Finally about 1030z they started to peak up here
in Delaware; I heard them work a couple of JAs, and they built to 559, easy
copy. Then they announced "QSX up 5" numerous times and I quickly retuned
the amp for the low end of the band. I called numerous times, as did others,
but that was the last we heard of them. A few minutes later they were
spotted on 75m and that's where they stayed right through our sunrise peak.
Very loud on 75.
