FWIW, I sold my highly modified R-4C two years ago after letting it
languish in the shack. I had stopped using it when after doing extensive
A-B comparisons with the Icom 765, I could discern no real difference in
sensitivity, selectivity and convenience.
One can make the case that these classics are worth keeping.
I decided since I wasn't using it, I may as well move it to someone who
could appreciate it.
