Dear Joe:
The first thing I would do is shorten the top wire from 110 to about 80
feet. If you look at the modeling by Thomas, NK4LF a couple of days ago,
you will find a 60 degree take off angle which is fine for near in but not
too good for long haul DX. You can match that pretty well with a series
capacitor at the feed point ~500 pF vacuum variable is best.
Also, some of us run radials through the house, on floor joists, etc. to
help the ground plane.
