Good conditions into Europe this morning, with an opening extending from Eire west to Germany and north to Scandinavia. Signals were peaking S8-9 (OZ7YY, LA5HE and [heard] G3XGC). As often happens, when propagation is poor in a easterly direction into the USA (nothing heard last night after sunset, only K1ZM at 459 the previous day), conditions are good to the west and Europe coming up to local sunrise. It was also great to work Bert ZS5LB at 2137Z, who was a solid S5, after a long absence. Vy 73, Steve, VK6VZ |
