Robert, Some coax has more noise pickup than other mostly due to oxidation, water incursion, and poor shielding. One thing you can due is lay it on the ground and terminate it. Connect the other end to a receiver with a good primp and measure the noise pickup. Not all will be the same. Herb Schoenbohm, (ex-KV4FZ) |
