FWIW: Pacific, Far East, and SE Asia were very weak but generally readable here in N. Cal. on 1/27 most of the evening (0000Z - about 0800Z), and still weak but clearly "there" when I woke up for the last 3.5 hrs of the contest. QRM was not a major problem ... just pretty weak. I managed only two JAs and 2 KH6's with my 100W and sloping V antenna. All in all, condx seemed pretty good this year ... until 1500Z on Sun AM when the BC stations in the Sacramento Valley went QRO at sunrise! Fred K6DGW |
