In regards to the post mentioning mig welding wire. Many years ago I put a solid wire (as per Misek) under my Beverage antenna using mig wire... It sure looks pretty all copper coated and all but the Oregon rain removed all of the copper coating (it is very thin) in less than a year leaving a rusted hulk of a center conductor... Well as it turns out that was probably better for the beverage but certainly not well suited to radials... 73es Lee K7tjr Oregon |
