Hi folks
Large electric activity (thunderstorm) areas acts like =
"barriers" to top band/MF dx sigs? This saturday night at cq ww we are =
(SA) facing stronger QRN and few dx sigs (present at cluster) compared =
to friday night.=20
Questions: A large thunderstorm area in the dx path is a factor for =
weaker sigs?
Charged clouds "blocks" ground wave ? What is the =
mechanism ?=20
OBS. AM BC sigs from 60 mi stations frequently weaker in these =
situations.
