The major problem with receiving antennas when the available space is small, is the coupling with the transmitting aerial(s). In my experience I found that small loops can work if rotated for the minimal coupling with the transmitting antenna. Even if the distance is only few meters the notch is enough deep. This of course is valid if the loop is then fixed and mantained in its position, if the transmitting antenna is a vertical and if the loop is the same vertically installed. 73, Mauri I4JMY |
