For those wanting to test their QRSS software (ARGO / SPECTRAN..) or just get their feet wet in QRSS mode, I have had a 900mw beacon running on 1997.750 KHz for about 1 year. It is in the QRSS3 mode (3 second dots). The pair of 2N2222s has been widely seen (heard?) in all call districts as well as VE3 land. 73 / Steve / VE7SL "THE VE7SL RADIO NOTEBOOK" at http://www.imagenisp.ca/jsm VE7SL 160m QRSS3 BEACON 1997.750KHz Weeknights (Off air Fri/Sat night) |
