you can adjust your keying shape from 2ms to 8ms. with 4ms as the default.
My radios is set to 8ms. At this setting I have never received a bad report.
I also had a Kenwood TS-870 you could change the keying shape from 2ms to
8ms default of 4ms as I remember. That radio I also set the shape factor to
8ms and never received a bad report.
Look at your menus and see if you can change the shape factor in the setup.
