I think the the use of the word "seek" is incorrect with respect to electromagnetic wave propogation. The radiation does not seek anything. It only travels in a straight line through media of constant index of refraction, travels in bent or curved paths though media of changing idecies of refraction, or is absorbed and sometimes reradiated. It does do any seeking at all. |
