Hi everybody,
some news from ST0RY. The group has now two Titanex V80 verticals. One
vertical is directly at the Nile River that is some 500 to 700m wide at that
point. This means a LOT of water towards Europe and North America. Dietmar,
DL3DXX, the 160m operator at ST0RY uses the second vertical occasionally for
receiving. Signals are lower on this antenna, however the noise level too.
Dietmar says he now can even hear rather weak signals.
