I have several very low Beverage antennas and what I find is that the
enhanced performance seems to be caused by the low Beverage's inability to
hear local man made noise very well. When I use the normal height Beverages
I hear more power line, electric fence and computer noise from around here.
They both seem to do well with sky wave signals but the low antennas receive
signals poorly that are generated on earth. (extreme low angles like 1
degree) 73's Don, w7dd _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
