Which will probably acheive nothing! What it needs is for everyone complaining/posturing on here to write a clear letter to the CEO of whatever Yaesu's parent company is called now, and copy the letter to the senior exec of your national Yaesu distributor, plus the owner of the distributor/dealer you bought your FT1000nn from. Get every friend and local club member with an FT1000 to do the same. Nothing more than one page, no exec ever reads past page 1. Be sure to express your dissapointment in their product and how it will put you off buying their products again. Follow up the letters until you get a reply. If nothing else the VP for quality should get a rocket, especially if the letters number into the hundreds, which they should. Letters have more impact than emails, they fill up his desk! The head man of Yaesu probably doesn't even know he has a problem in his products! 73 Fred G4BWP
