I don't know if Remi changed his QTH or antenna but I worked him in 1995 and 
that time
he had very strong signal. I had just Inverted Vee as TX and RX antenna and I 
remember 
I was astonished how good signal he had ...so I suppose it may be not " wishful 
thinking".
