I may have an opportunity to put up 80m 1/4 wave wire as a straight vertical or inverted-L adjacent to my 160 inv-L (same tree). It looks like I won't be able to share the feedline with the 160 antenna -- it's too hard/cold to unwrap and re-connect the existing 160 feed. Question: Can I share the radials... tie the shield of the 80m coax to the (26) 160m radials? What's the tradeoff? Thanks! 73, Eric W3DQ Washington, DC _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
