With the Dragon posing a threat to make JA QSOs difficult - I think we
should think about alternative methods for working JAs during the CQ
160 contest.

K4ZW found (and JA5DQH documented why) that frequencies around 1950 kHz
had less interference from the Dragon than the more standard DX frequencies
used (1810-1825).

If the Dragon is on - I would suggest that JA stations call CQ and ask for
QSX frequency where the interference is less (whatever frequency that is).

This will also provide a clue to other stations who are interested in calling
CQ where the JA stations can hear us.

So - if I hear some JAs calling CQ and QSX around 1940-1955 kHz - I might then
call CQ in that frequency range and hope to work JAs - QSX on a JA frequency.

Hopefully the dragon will be sleeping during the contest, but if not, this
method might allow at least a few QSOs with Asia to take place (this
technique isn't limited to JAs obviously).
