Topband: The glory days of 160...

I'm new to 160. I've purchased a couple of books on the subject and am
actually reading them.

In a previous e-mail, Bob Eldridge wrote, "I guess I was lucky to live
in the glory days of 160. I hope they come again."  I would like to hear
about the glory days of 160 you speak of. Was this cycle related and we
can look forward to better conditions, or was this a once in a life time
grace of the RF Gods?
