Does anyone have experience with a 160m Windom?
I like the fact that it has a vertical radiating section. I can't put up an
inverted L due to the location. If I did put one up I could only lay 1
radial directly underneath it
Thanks

Hi Allen from Ed KG4W. I use a Carolina Windom
covering 10 thru 160. The ant is up as an inv vee
with the apex at 130ft & the ends abt 70ft. I like the ant.
Listed below are stns worked during a 1 hr period in
the recent IARU HF contest. I am in Va and all of the
stns below were calling CQ & I called them. I was
receiving the dx stns on a beverage & transmitting via
the windom & running the Yaesu VL1000 amp which
is not a qro amp.
