In the 1990s, I had a 660-ft Beverage at previous QTH in northern Delaware that went from 90 feet elevation to 30 feet elevation. This was a 10-foot-high single wire with feedlines and relays to each end to make it reversible, NW/SE. It was higher at the NW end. It worked great -- heard KL7s and lots of JAs in the NW direction -- and exhibited good f/b when switched to opposite direction. Much of its length also was over a chain link fence about 4 to 6 feet high. 73/Jon AA1K _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
