On their home page under the sunset picture they STATE pictures and analysis of
the 61077 QSOs will be posted in the next few weeks.  This should show the REAL
story about regions worked.  So a little patience please.

I am not a real fan of the leader board, though I did get caught up in the
VP6DX leader board chase because I worked them on band/mode combinations.

The cost of some DXpeditions may help determine QSO rate vs needs.  It can
become a financial issue.  3Y0X was VERY expensive, a few folks could NOT
absorb that cost.  Donations from those who worked them were very much welcomed
to help cover some of their costs.

Those who sit at home and complain about an operation need to ACTUALLY get
involved by going on a DXpedition and experience the reality.

If you work it that is great.  If you did not work it, then we must wait until
the next operation.  I missed ALL BS7 operations prior to 2007.  My boss just
could not understand why I would ask to delay or opt out a business trip to
stay home and "play" on the radio.  This was no decision point, it was JOB or
NO JOB.  Company RIF one week prior to Visalia 2007 (it became my retirement
date) made BS7H easy to work, I was finally at home, after such a long wait.

We must congratulate the effort and success of K5D and K4M and hope their
success will show to the US government agencies that amateur radio operations
can be performed with very little or NO local impact.  Now to wait a
possible Navassa Island operation.  The doors have been opened.
