Topband: (no subject)

I have often wondered (and never gotten an answer ) to the question 
"How does the forest affect the radiated signal?"

Not enough that I would fret, worry or lose sleep over. 

I have almost 30 years of experience with a 110' top loaded transmitting
antenna smack dab in the middle of a New England forest.
