The QST article is a very "lite" version of the N6LF study. To get the full impact you need to get the QEX articles (7 of them I think) and you will find that for the most part the study says what has been said over the years is pretty close to being true. The one question which is NOT answered (and he makes this quite clear) is what happens to ground systems when installed over very poor ground. His tests are all made over very good ground.
