Our propagation prediction programs generally do not go below 80m for several
reasons, the biggest being the effect of the magnetic field on propagation
(specifically refraction, absorption, and polarization) of an electromagnetic
wave at 1.8 MHz.
Anyway, using SSN and the K index won't really tell you anything about
propagation on 160. Many have tried to correlate these two parameters to 160m,
but it just doesn't work.
