The 1026 has a built in pre-amp which may be helpful. The built in antenna is easily removed by just unscrewing it from the feed through, or not putting it on in the first place when you open the box. What is really needed --unless the noise is right in your shack-- is a separate antenna that picks up the unwanted noise MUCH better than the one built-in to the 1026. 73, Mike www.w0btu.com On Mon, Jan 12, 2015 at 11:39 AM, Rob Atkinson <ranchorobbo@gmail.com> wrote:... to just get an additional MFJ-1026 to effectively null the second noise source?_________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband |
