Dave, Response from the designer W8GNM to your ohmic resistance question relative to the BevFlex-4X: Ohmic isolation means there is no direct, DC, connection between the shields on the feedline coaxial cables and the antenna. The signals are coupled through isolation transformers. In addition, the feedline coaxial cables are isolated from the coaxial cable to the receiver by an RF transformer.
