Dan, sounds like fun. A couple of things to think about: A roof 3 stories up is not "high in the air" typically as the roof under the antenna may be a nice ground plain - think reinforced concrete or metal roofs. So you should plan to install some radials under it. Ideal is if you can run some RG58 out to the beach and plunk it next to the water. Also use 4 radials there. Enjoy.
