For the most part, the BYs STILL have not yet gotten to the point where
they hear most stations calling, including JAs. Most, especially some of
the louder big guns, are deafer than a doorknob, and it's far easier and
more productive to call and work just about any other Asian, like a JT,
XU, XV, 9M, etc.. I've found some of the easier-to-work BYs are the
weakest ones, perhaps because they locate away from noisy areas and
actually spend the time to LISTEN in between their CQs. A lot of the big
guns hardly even pause between CQs, and only answer loud UA0s, who
mostly live next door.
