In putting together some new-out-of-the-box KLM beams recently for W6EEN, I
noticed that the conductive paste they now supply is different than before.
I recall that their older stuff for many years was the coppery-looking stuff
(which I never liked... in my experience it actually ENHANCED the corrosive
process around the s.s. studs and aluminum straps, especially near
saltwater). But in their recent kits their paste is a type I've never seen.
It's a very silvery-looking, thin paste... not "watery", but not as thick as
NOALOX either, and not as dark in color. I assume it is extremely
fine-grained aluminum dust carried in some medium. Time will tell, but it
looks good.

Re NOALOX separation, yes, I have seen it also but I just stir it up with a
screwdriver once a year.

Then, the screwdriver won't corrode.
