Must be getting old....forgot to mention:
1) After the pipe couplers were tightened, they were through-bolted and
sprayed with cold galvanize.
2) The original concept for this is the old (bet some are still in use) HZRN
rotating crank-up mounting system. The ring around the lower section of
tower was secured in a similar manner.
