Yes, I have done this before.  I wonder if it is better to cut the ONE 
horizontal brace or one of the diagonal brace.  I've done this two ways.  
I've cut out the botton rung and I have cut the rung where the horizontal 
and diagonal rung attached to the tower leg...bent it out...out in the 
rotor...and then used a hose clamp to put it together again.  Like a hose 
clamp is going to hold!  After doing that...I felt rather stupid.  Went to a 
u-bolt rig that was just as LAME!

Is there a way to do this without cutting anything???

Thanks for the advice and opinions.  Remember, opinions are OK.
