Guys,
Anybody out there modify their Hygain Hytower to work on 30M?
I purchased one mainly to use as a secondary ant on 80 meters. I have
no need for it to operate on 40, 20, 15 or 10 m.
It occurred to me that maybe I could just shorten the 40 meter stub (90"
long) and the antenna would resonate on 30M. The 15 and 10 meter stubs
will not be used.
Anybody out there do this or think this would work? It would be nice to
have this as a secondary antenna on 30M as well.
