GA to all OMs,

in various places in literature there is a method describesd, where you
position one of two stacked Yagis 1 quarter wavelength in front of the
other one, at the same time delaying its signals by a a quarterwave
elongation of its feeding coax. This gives a very high F/B ratio and I used
thius method with success duruing 2 years on 144Mc.
Now to the question: In literature they stress to put the upper Yagi a
quarter wavelength before the lower, but they don't give you the reason for
not postioning the lower in front of the upper.
Can anybody help me.
