If you pull your Autek out one day and discover that when hooked to an open
ended piece of coax (80' of 213 in my case) all impedance measurements
come out "H" except for maybe around 2000 ohms in one range of frequencies
(around 20mhz in my case), suspect the capacitor going from the SO239 center
concuctor. The center of this socket can rotate, so if you put too-fat male
center conductors in it and twist them around as I must have done, the
capacitor lead and/or side of the capacitor fractures. Easy to repair, but
hard on the nerves. :-)

Pete
