The way I solved my yaseu rotator problem was to get the get one from
M2 (OR-2800).The Yaesu self destructed only after 3 months of this
awful ND weather.The OR2800 is going strong and turns my Force-12 c4xl/d
very easy even at 40 below Zero.For 2 years after moving to Mandan,ND
Murphy was here with me.I then had a M2 log periodic and a Heavy Duty
Yaesu rotator on a US Tower HDX 555.The WX ate the antenna and rotator
and this all happened right before Sweepstakes(CW).
If you have any doubt on what to buy,get the biggest and baddest you can
buy and then the wind still blows the snow around at 35 to 60mph.
