On a bet, I explored the possibility of employing the same staggering
technique with 4-element Yagis.  Yes, it can be done.  Yes, it has some
advantages.  Yes, it has some limitations.  Notes on the idea, carried
only to the "in principle" (that is untapered model elements) level have
been added to the "123. . ." entry at the site.

Now if I had only bet a bundle on the idea. . .
