I usually work out with the TV on the Discovery Channel. One of the shows was
covering the "mysterious" crop circles. An OM that makes them uses a peep site
mounted to the brim of his cap to site a distant object to walk a straight
line. While not particularly useful in the woods, I thought it was a pretty
cool idea.
The peep site was just a stiff piece of wire with a small loop at one end. You
figure out how to attach it to the hat.
