I made the mistake of putting up samll antenna recently with no ground crew
(it's only gunna take a second)...Well to make things worse left the
climbing belt at work, oh well(it's only gunna take a second)...It was just
a small vhf yagi, just something to talk a friend into town with. In the
process I stuck one of the elements in my eye, thank GOD I had enough sense
not to grab my eye and let go of the tower.
It was not a major injury just blurry vision for a day or two. I decided
right there, NO MORE CLIMBING ALONE! Even if it is only going to take a
second.
