Hi everybody.
During last CQWW CW, my C3XL had a fault on 20m. Reflector. With 1 Kw, the
insulator leterarily was melted by RF. My contest effort finished so....
I had replaced the insulator with a more heavy PVC tube, but today, with
the same power it seems to have been the same end.
I would need, if any has these measures, the diameter of reflector, so to
try and built a better insulator (I have thought at teflon). Sadly the
tower is a crunk up and now, for some period, no high ladder has available,
so I think to built it before and after looking again for a ladder higher 7
meter....

ps. a strange thing for an antenna which claimes no traps and costs in
Italy something like 2,400 USD !!!
