The TH-6 did not have small traps so your description puzzles me. And did
you know you can by an upgrade kit (39-2S) that will convert it to a TH-7???
Might want to think about that if what you have is a TH-6.
Boom for the TH-7 and TH-6 is 24 feet and both use a black plastic Hygain
balun.
