Two inch for all practical purposes. The manual says "the maximum mast
diameter that may be used is 2-1/16" OD. We recommend 1-1/2" nominal steel
pipe with 1.9" OD in standard wall thickness". (You'll almost never see a
recommendation on TowerTalk to use a steel pipe as a mast. There are a couple
of exceptions.) I would strongly recommend using 2.0" carbon steel tubing for
a mast. Not only is it stronger but I think it won't turn as eccentrically as
the 1.9" OD pipe.

Shimming a 1.5" OD or similar mast is practically impossible. Avoid if
possible.
