Good point Charlie. Prompting the following test:
Put a Y adapter in the rig (450 Ken.), with a Heil set in one side, and
Pro-50 in the other. Listened to the same non-QSB signal on both sets
for CW and SSB.
Frequency response was much higher on the RS job. The volume level being
the same, RS was much louder too. The louder volume might not be
advantageous, but the higher frequency response sure was, as on SSB, most
of the inteligibility (for me) is up there.
I am not connected to either of these companies, just passing along.
Surprised just how much better the cheapo sounded, so I thought I would
report. In a short description, the Heil set was simply "more dull
.....A non scientific test, ears may vary.
