        A definitive (hot power) investigation was made by Gray, Frierson,
Haertig 
ghf@haertig.com  Check with them.....

Some of their data:


Using a KW (!) source signal:

Loss as listed:


FREQ    LOSS, WATTS, Loss, DB

.1 mhz:    1 watt, .004 db loss

1 mhz   1.2 watts, .005 db loss

10 mhz  1.3 watts, .005 db loss

20 mhz  1.5 watts,  .006 db loss


100 mhz 2.6 watts, .01 db loss

400 mhz 7 watts,  .03 db loss

1ghz,  15 watts, .06 db loss;

Connector failed at 1750 mHz, at a KW, due to heating
