Shortly I will be installing a Tennadyne T-8 log periodic antenna ( 8 elements
on an 18 ft boom) and a five element Cushcraft 6 meter beam on the same mast.
I propose to mount the LP near the top of the mast (at about 65 feet) and the
6 meter beam about 8 feet lower. I could separate these antennaes about 10
feet (2 feet more) but would rather keep the height of the mast above the top
of the tower to a minimum. Does anyone have any experience or predictions
regarding interference or adverse interaction using these beams and spacing.
If I thought it not make any practical difference, I would even like to space
the antennaes closer with a separation of about 6 feet. Any thoughts and
suggestions are requested. Thank you. Jan W5KNZ Corpus Christi, Tx
