I have a G1000SDX and like it a lot.  I especially like the preset.

I would go to http://www.texastowers.com and check out the yeasu rotors there.
They're web page does a nice job of explaining the "k" factor for the yeasu
rotors.  This will help you compare the two rotors in question.
