Hi ,
I want to make a four square here on 40m as a backup antenna. For other
reasons i want to use an over length vertical as one of the four. It will
be
40ft high ground mounted. If you assume the Z of the other Three verticals
is 36 +j0.Am i right in thinking that i can fool a phasing unit into
thinking the 40ft vertical is also 36 + j0 by feeding it with a L network
that matches the Z of the 40ft vertical lets say 69 + j87 to 36 +j0. Can
anyone see any
problems with the theory. regards Clive GM3POI
